Open Compute Project Foundation Hires Archna Haylock as Community Director

The Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) is pleased to announce the hire of Archna Haylock, as Community Director.

Ms. Haylock brings more than 15 years of experience in global customer relations and business development for IBM, including creative solution design for "Internet of Things" applications and service-related solutions for enterprise, medical and consumer industries. She was also responsible for Technical Support Services and growing the Managed Vendor Support Services (MVSS) market share across new industries including IOT, Enterprise, Medical and Retail. Prior to her work at IBM, Ms. Haylock was a technical sales engineer for Texas Instruments in their Semiconductor Group. She earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Ms. Haylock will be responsible for managing relationships with the community as well as the processes for membership, collaboration and governance. And she will serve as the main driver of collaboration and innovation for the OCP community within the Incubation Committee, which reviews and approves all new specifications which are submitted to the OCP Foundation and the nine project groups.
