Registration now Open for the Open Compute Project U.S. Summit 2015

We are excited to announce that we've opened registration for the Open Compute Project (OCP) U.S. Summit 2015, which will be held on 10-11 March at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. This event is free and open to the public, but it does require registration.

New this year is a full day of OCP Engineering Workshops that will be held the day before 2015 OCP US Summit at the same venue. This additional event is reflected in the registration options.

The Open Compute Project is just over three years old, and throughout this past year we have seen an acceleration in the growth of our community with the addition of a new OCP project group, an additional summit, OCP Days and new Foundation staff.  Our summits are two-day conferences packed full of amazing success stories, hands-on participation opportunities, learning experiences and more.

This event will host exciting keynote addresses from industry leaders, technical workshops, and educational tracks where you’ll have the opportunity to help drive the future of open hardware. For the third year in a row, we will also host a software and hardware hackathon at Summit, where anyone who’s interested will be able to hack their own OCP implementations. Registration and more information about the hackathon will be announced later today.

Registration

Please pay careful attention to your options before you register.  Registration this year contains the following two options:

Option 1 - Engineering Workshop - March 9 + OCP U.S. Summit 2015 - March 10-11  - Choose this option if you are planning on attending BOTH the Engineering workshop on 9 March AND the 2015 OCP US Summit on 10-11 March.  Seats are limited for the Engineering Workshop so if you select this option please make sure you are planning to attend and contribute to the technical discussions.

Option 2 - OCP U.S. Summit ONLY - March 10-11 - Choose this option if you are planning on attending the OCP US Summit ONLY.  Please note there will be engineering workshops in the afternoon on the 10-11 so if you are not an active contributor to the projects and you only want to observe and see what goes on in the workshops please choose this option.

Sponsorship Opportunities

These amazing events are only possible through the generous donations of our sponsors. There are still sponsorship opportunities available for the summit. If your organization is interested in sponsoring this summit or any of the 2015 engineering workshops, please email Stephanie Loayza, OCP Events Manager, for more information.
